Customer Review: Excellent saw, easy blade loading, amazing batteries
This is a compact recip saw that keeps up with its corded bigger brothers. Its size makes it easy to maneuver in tighter spaces without sacrificing raw cutting power. Not to mention you can take it out in the middle of nowhere or into hard to reach areas such as an attic or crawlspace where there’s no power and not have to worry about getting an extension cord tangled up or coming unplugged. Very easy to load blades as they lock securely once you push them into place. Removing them is just as easy by turning the blade holder a quarter turn. But the best thing about this saw is the batteries. They provide tremendous, long lasting power and charge back up in just about a half hour! I’ve had the batteries last as long as 2-3 days on a drill/driver with fairly constant use. Any other cordless would have died in the middle of the first day and required me to have a handful of batteries pre-charged to continue working. That means more money spent and more heavy crap to lug around and take up space. I only have one battery per tool of this Makita line, and generally only use two (max three) at a time so I always have one (yes, just one) precharged and ready for replacements. The dead battery can be back to work fully charged in half an hour (if I need it)! I have an inverter in the car and if needed I can recharge one or two batteries on the way to the next job!

Nice saw with quick change blade holder. Had a little problem with a no name blade fitting but it was just a blob of paint that once removed was fine. Not as much power as corded but I knew that going in. I am really liking all these LXT Makitas. Pay the extra money and stay away from the cheap stuff unless you only use your tools very rarely.

Customer Review: Great Tools But Small 1/4″ Impact Driver
This is a great set of tools but I didn’t read the fine print and was surprised that the impact driver was a small, pretty much useless, 1/4″ driver. I had to purchase the 1/2″ driver separately but the good news is it came with 2 more batteries and another charger. I ordered these Dewalt tools to replace a set of Ryobi 14 volt tools. These Dewalt tools are very high quality with lots of battery life, you can’t go wrong with Dewalt.

Customer Review: DeWalt metal blades
Recently removed a 275 gal. fuel oil tank from basement, involved sawing off 2 and 3 inch pipes. NO-Name blade died very soon, Milwaukee blade not much better, DeWalt blade made the cuts like NOW!, and still going strong, re-cut the pipe stubs, same blade. Price wise, one can probably find individual blades for a specific purpose locally. But this 6 pc item is not a bad deal.
Customer Review: Great Product but be careful…..
Just a warning. I recieved my Dewalt Blades today. The mail lady went to hand me the box, and a blade dropped right out of the box and landed tip down onto my deck, and stuck. So my advice for Amazon is to package any sharp object differently. When I opened the box, the entire blade set was underneath the bottom flap of the box. It was a good thing more blades didnt come out or get lost for that matter, and most importantly that when the one did come out, no one got hurt.

Have had other Denali tools and have been very happy with them BUT this one I just got their reciprocating saw and attached the new battery fully charged and I hit the trigger and it went BURRrrr and froze up in less than a heart beat… WHAT THE ??? very disappointed.

All Denali Tools have been fantastic, the only concern is longevity. i bought this, used it and loved it so i bought 2 more. i figure at $14 i can buy 5 before i have even touched a dewalt (even then i still have some more money to spend). the blade is par at best, buy good blades and the tool performs.

Customer Review: Does the job
This tool works as expected. Having been a carpenter for 20 years I pretty much knew how to use the tool & what to expect. I had used a number of the sawzalls over time and am glad I bought this tool. The blades are easy to change, it is light-weight, and doesn not get hot in your hands as some of the older models. I bought it from Amazon.com at a fair price. Shipping was good & right on time. I initially used the sawzall to cut down a cyclone fence and it cut right thru w/ no problem.
