Heading the list of features we love is the great miter detent override, allowing you to compensate for a world that just isn’t square all the time. Normally, you’d have a fight on your hands with regular detents because of that annoying tendency saws have to snap into the detent when you get too close. But built into the cam lock miter handle is a detent override, and you can cut as close to a detent as you need to without slipping in. It miters from 0 to 50 degrees both right and left, and of course, there are the 11 positive stops you expect, and all dead-on accurate. The cam lever is a great improvement over the turnscrew knob on the miter arm, too.

Customer Review: Great Product but be careful…..
Just a warning. I recieved my Dewalt Blades today. The mail lady went to hand me the box, and a blade dropped right out of the box and landed tip down onto my deck, and stuck. So my advice for Amazon is to package any sharp object differently. When I opened the box, the entire blade set was underneath the bottom flap of the box. It was a good thing more blades didnt come out or get lost for that matter, and most importantly that when the one did come out, no one got hurt.

These things are great. First I had a set for my DeWalt miter saw, then I used another set to install a stone cutter on my miter workstation to get it up off the ground. I want a few more sets so that I can mount other useful tools where my old back can make better use of those tools.

This is probably one of the best value for your money. It feels rugged and has not given me any problems. I have been using (sometimes abusing) the saw but it just keeps going. I wish it was made in USA rather than Mexico. When we buy DeWalt, we associate “Made in U.S.A.” This doesn’t mean the product is poorly made but I wish the jobs stayed here. The delivery was ON TIME.
